Camp Sucks

Like I said a few weeks ago, going to camp sucks and apparently Brett agrees with me. I don't know about you, I just kind of laugh at the fact he's coming back, he's retiring, he's gonna play, he's done. For whatever reason so many people are getting worked up about this but I don't really see what the problem is. If anything, espn has got to love whats going on. There's been about 4 or 5 different times that people have overloaded espn.com or watched sportscenter over and over to get the latest news on Brett. It's great. What else are we going to talk about right now? Definitely not the Dodgers.

Is anyone else nervous about the way they are playing? Is anyone else a little unsettled at the fact that the Cardinals have won the last 10 of 13 games against the Dodgers? Shouldn't home be the place where you feel most comfortable? Not the place where you lose four games in a row? In the 9th inning shouldn't the batters put up some sort of fight instead of swing for the fences on the first pitch only to pop up to first base - MANNY? I have this really uneasy feeling going on right now as the Dodgers usually do what they do in the second half of baseball - BLOW IT! Even if we make the playoffs (and I've been saying this over and over again) the Cardinals are going to rip us apart. Their pitching is flawless, they have monsters that bat for them, and they have our number.

In other normal Raider news, Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable denied reports, which surfaced Monday, that he punched defensive assistant Randy Hanson in the jaw and caused injuries that required treatment at a hospital earlier this month. That's just the way we roll.
